St. Mary
the Theotokos
Church
Duluth, Minnesota
The first Syro-Russian
Orthodox Catholic Church was consecrated in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1892.
From that point on, other Churches were established including in Duluth. The
Syro- Russian Orthodox Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite Church with some
Western influences. However, it remains primarily Byzantine
Rite using the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. For more history of this
truly multi-cultural Church and specific information about this parish, please refer to their
website.
