On Saturday, September 18, 2004, our beloved Rick Michaels of St. Simon's in Ironwood, Michigan, became "Deacon Michaels" in the tradition of the Orthodox Church.  On Sunday, September 19, 2004, Rick was ordained into the priesthood and became Fr. Anthony Michaels.  To those of us that have known and loved Rick and watched him prepare for the priesthood over many years, this was a long- awaited and joyous day!
